Thank you again for putting me in touch with Janna Kohl. We just closed on a house on Friday.

I wanted to let you know that we had a very positive experience with Janna, which is remarkable because this particular deal, which is great for us, is probably a mortgage broker's worst nightmare: a short sale fixer-upper.

As you know, short sales are time consuming and fixers are lower dollar amounts and hence less glamorous, if not less profitable. In fact, the only thing that could make a deal like this even less pleasant would be a sleep deprived first time buyer with new baby managing money during a financial crisis.....check!

Despite this Janna never lost her patience. She always treated me like I was buying a $20M house in a vanilla transaction. She was attentive and extremely responsive. She offered excellent advice on how to structure the loan and had great input into the deal when it hit a few road bumps. When it came time to close we hit a snafu on the short sale. Janna went way above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a level of service that greatly exceeded what I deserved.
